I currently provide individual therapy for adults only. I utilize the following modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational interviewing, Person Centered, Strengths-Based, Solution Focused, Trauma Informed Care.
Since 2023, I have been undergoing training and consultation to become certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy, an evidence-based treatment for PTSD.
I attend regular trainings to stay up-to-date with relevant practices in the field, enhance competency and learn about evidence based therapy practices.
I earned a Master’s of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008. I see my role as a therapist as guiding you to find self-compassion, capacity, change, resiliency wherever you are in life.
I'm now seeing patients in person at my office in South Austin (near S. Lamar and Menchaca).
