My Philosophy and Values

My therapy practice and lifestyle are inclusive, and I welcome everyone. I view therapy as a collaborative process, and I meet my clients where they are in their mental health and life journey.

Through my experiences working within the mental healthcare system, I have witnessed the negative impact of systemic inequities and recognize the need for change. By accepting a range of insurances, I aim to be an agent of change by removing barriers and making mental healthcare more accessible.

I give back to the community by donating earnings to these causes I admire: Austin Wildlife Rescue, KOOP radio, The Loveland Foundation and The Other Ones Foundation.

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); licensed to diagnose and provide mental health therapy treatment throughout Texas. I provide individual therapy for adults only.

I currently provide individual therapy for adults only. I utilize the following modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational interviewing, Person Centered, Strengths-Based, Solution Focused and Trauma Informed Care

About My Practice

Since 2023, I have been undergoing training and consultation to become a recognized provider of Cognitive Processing Therapy, an evidence-based treatment for PTSD.

I attend regular trainings to stay up-to-date with relevant practices in the field, enhance competency and learn about evidence based therapy practices.

I earned a Master’s of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008.  I see my role as a therapist as guiding you to find self-compassion, capacity, change, resiliency wherever you are in life.
